northeast-southwest over the South Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:47 AM NST 11 December 2017 A low pressure system over the Southeastern South Labrador Sea will
move to lie east of Greenland this evening. Gale to storm force
northeasterlies over southern waters will back to strong to gale
force northwesterlies as the low moves away today.
A trough of low pressure will develop over the Northwest Labrador Sea
this morning and strengthen throughout the day. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies between the low and the trough will back to strong to
gale force northwesterlies in the wake of the trough on Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
South Labrador Sea - southeastern half. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the East Labrador Sea.
